Weighed in at 285...no surprises there.

Okay...I know I’ve said it before, but this time I mean it. I’m and damn well going to get thin...or at least thinner.

I messed up my ankle pretty good and had to spend some time on my butt. So naturally my butt and the rest of me put on some weight. I capped out at 292. It was awful. I was waiting on Heather to call me and I fell asleep on the couch. When I woke up to the phone ringing I jumped off the couch to get it, not realizing that my foot was asleep...so I didn't notice that my ankle wasn't straight. I stepped down on the outside of my foot and brought my whole weight to bear on it. Then I felt something 'wrong' in my ankle. I had to crawl to the phone. It was pretty bad. Heather had to take me to the emergency room.

While recovering, I had to use a brace and some crutches. Later I worked up to a cane. I lost so much time on this. I probably should have made some journal entries about the experience but it was just too depressing. I was loosing so much ground.

But I'm back on my feet now and starting my cardo in the morning. I had been doing it about once a week (and only for a few minutes) while I was healing. But I'm up to 15 minutes a day, 6 times a week. Got my weight back down to 285. It's not a major change but at least I'm moving in the right direction again. Official weigh-in is tomorrow. I'm guessing that I'll be right at 285.

I'm increasing my cardo by a minute everyday. My plan is to cap at 20 minutes (which will happen next week) and start adding additional workout times. So I'll be getting in two cardo workouts a day. This should skyrocket my metabolism. Once I have two 20 minute cardo workouts in place, I will start adding in some weight training.

I’m getting my eating under control. I've cut out the sodas (that alone should help drop my weight) and only drink water. Breakfast is cereal. I cut out the raisin bran that I was eating as I found out that it contained high fructose corn syrup and switched to Crispix. It has a good taste but you have to eat it fast since it gets soggy quick. I try to get in two more mini meals while at work, then take supper with Heather.
